The problem with Barack Obama.

According to the media, Obama has been taking vacations frequently but one thing the media has not been discussing is of what benefit these vacations are to Obama.

Obama's day job is itself kind of like a vacation anyways, where he spends a lot of his time delaying difficult issues until he returns from his next vacation, and finding ways to postpone even more difficult issues until he is no longer in office.

When Obama goes on vacation, he's sort of like taking a vacation from a vacation, and at that point is there not a chance that he could get vacation overdose?

Does such a thing even exist?

If such a thing does exist and he does get vacation overdose, and if John Travolta doesn't happen to be nearby to place a needle in his arm, who else is there that can step in on day 1 and start kicking the can down the road with the skill off a Barack Obama?

Joe Biden? Hillary Clinton? John Kerry?

I didn't think so.

A genius of Obama's stature at the art of kicking the can down the road only comes along every 20 or 30 years. Like Michael Jordan or Wayne Gretzky before him, Obama is a once-in-a-generation talent.

And therein lies the problem for any of Obama's possible successors, regardless of how well they might kick the can the road, people will always say "Joe Biden, yeah he's good but he's no Obama, I mean for a second overall draft pick he's really good, but he's still no Obama."

If anybody would be willing to sneak into the White House, and enter the Oval Office, then perhaps that intruder could politely interrupt Obama's daydreaming and then ask him to look further into that topic.

If such a dramatic intervention were not to take place, is there a chance that President Obama will retire and that the Oval Office may then be filled by a lesser talent?

Can America really afford to start addressing any of its problems, let alone to solve any of them?

America's national debt alone stands at almost 20 trillion dollars, would Americans really want to pay more to reduce the size of that debt or would they not prefer to postpone that problem for ten more years and not have to pay anything in the meantime.

Obama says that if you sign a petition for him to be allowed to run for a third term, once he is re-elected, you will never have to pay anything for anything ever again.

Obama says that he will enact those changes at any price, and if things don't work out for some reason, he will simply blame everything on Hillary Clinton.

One last thing, if anyone is thinking of sneaking into the White House so as to have a personal chat with Obama, don't do that this week, unfortunately Obama is not present right now, he is currently on vacation. He will be returning to Washington whenever he feels like it.
